what we believe

We are a Reformed Baptist Fellowship that practices believers' baptism and holds to the Five Solas of the Reformation:

Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone)

Scripture alone is the supreme authority in all matters of doctrine and practice.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.  2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sola Gratia (Grace Alone)

Salvation is by grace alone.

For by grace you have been saved through faith.  And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9

Sola Fide (Faith Alone)

Salvation is received through faith alone.

Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for "The righteous shall live by faith."  Galatians 3:11

Solus Christus (Christ Alone)

Our justification is in the person and work of Christ alone.

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.  1 Timothy 2:5

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:  whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies-in order that in everthing God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.  To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  1 Peter 4:10-11
