We are called to be praying people, motivated by our sure hope in Christ to:

• Not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Phil 4:6)
• Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another (James 5:16)
• Pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:17)
• Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication (Eph 6:18)
